Our mission is to support the discovery and development of therapies that improve patient health across both established and emerging disease areas. We do this by providing accessible, affordable research space and services while ensuring the responsible and ethical use of animal models.

Pioneering a new path for preclinical R&D

In 2003, Mispro introduced the contract vivarium model as an alternative to CRO outsourcing or building and operating an internal vivarium. By pairing professionally managed vivarium environments with integrated services, Mispro enables scientific teams to conduct and oversee their own in vivo studies on accelerated timelines while generating trusted and reproducible preclinical data.

What began as a different approach to research infrastructure is now gaining broad recognition across the biotech ecosystem. Companies value the ability to move studies forward with greater speed and consistency, while pharmaceutical partners and venture investors increasingly recognize how controlled, reliable preclinical data strengthens programs and accelerates development decisions.
