Along with offering access to turnkey research space for in vivo studies, Mispro supports its clients with animal husbandry, veterinary services, and regulatory compliance oversight, including IACUC.
Mispro’s Launch Level is designed to enable companies to launch in vivo rodent studies in a state-of-the-art vivarium facility at an affordable price point with flexibility to grow. Launch Level includes IVC rack space in a shared holding room and access to a contiguous shared procedure room with a shared BSC that is deconned after each use. Mice only. Not available in NYC ERSP and Farmingdale.
Mispro’s Entry Level is designed for emerging biotechs or platform companies who require a higher cage count and a dedicated BSC. Entry Level includes IVC rack space in a shared holding room and access to a contiguous shared procedure room with a dedicated BSC.
Mispro’s Semi-Private offering is designed for companies who require flexibility to support larger animal populations, desire private procedure space, yet want the cost-effectiveness of shared housing space. Semi-Private includes IVC rack space in a shared holding room and access to a contiguous dedicated private procedure room with BSC.
Mispro’s Private Suites are designed to offer companies the convenience of dedicated space and complete privacy. Private Suites consist of a holding room with IVC racks and a BSC contiguous to a procedure room with BSC and space for special equipment.
Mispro’s Large Private Suites offer the same level of convenience and privacy as our Private Suites, however with a bigger footprint to support larger animal populations or teams. Large Private Suites consist of a holding room with IVC racks and a BSC contiguous to a procedure room with BSC and space for special equipment. Available only in Kendall Square, Farmingdale NY, and South San Francisco.

A turnkey vivarium lab space is a fully equipped and ready-to-use facility designed for in vivo preclinical research involving laboratory animals. "Turnkey" means researchers can move in and begin work immediately without needing to build out or manage the space themselves. These labs typically include animal housing, procedure rooms, equipment, compliance infrastructure (like AAALAC accreditation and IACUC oversight), and on-site support staff—eliminating the need for companies to outsource to a CRO or invest in and operate their own vivarium.
Companies rent private or shared space for in vivo rodent studies and the contract vivarium operator provides all animal husbandry, veterinary, and regulatory compliance oversight services.
Researchers can conduct biosafety level I (BSL I) and biosafety level II (BSL II) rodent studies that have been approved by Mispro’s IACUC. Common fields of research at our facilities include oncology, immunology, gene and cell therapy, and more. Yes, we offer lab space for rent with options for shared, semi-private, and private lab space inclusive of procedure rooms and animal housing rooms. We also offer private suites which include both housing and procedure space(s).
For new clients, there are a few factors that affect start dates for studies, such as protocol approval and receipt of animals. Most clients begin their in vivo studies within 4-6 weeks from a signed contract.
Yes. In private and semi-private rooms and suites your space is yours and accessible only by your company. Mispro staff access housing rooms to deliver animal care and enter procedure rooms for regular maintenance and upon request.
